Staff training in fire safety is a legal obligation in France. It is imposed by the Labor Code. The training courses adapt to your work environment according to the legislation. They generally include awareness of fire safety, learning about legislative aspects, awareness of fire prevention, handling of fire extinguishers or even evacuation training.

Initial training of second intervention team members (ESI)

Goals :

  • Identify the means of control available in the company and implement them.
  • Apply and enforce the instructions in case of fire
  • Welcome and direct external help in the event of a disaster and know the rules of prevention within the establishment

Training: Not certifying.

Public: Any person designated as intervening within a fire organization or responsible for the fire team.

Prerequisites: Medical ability to wear an insulated breathing apparatus.

Positioning test at the start of training: Yes.

Medical restriction: Yes, according to the regulations in force and advice from occupational medicine.

Maximum number of participants: 8.

Training: Intra, face-to-face and synchronous.

Maintenance and updating of second intervention team member skills (MACESI)

Final objective: Maintain and improve the skills of the second intervention team member.

Training: Not certifying.

Public: Any person designated as intervening within a fire organization or responsible for the fire team.

Prerequisites: Medical aptitude for wearing an insulating breathing apparatus and having followed the initial ESI training.

Accessibility for people with all disabilities: Ask the center for information.

Positioning test at the start of training: Yes.

Medical restriction: Yes, according to the regulations in force and advice from occupational medicine.

Maximum number of participants: 10.

Training: Intra or inter, face-to-face and synchronous.

Learning approach: Inductive.

Teaching method: Active and experimental.

Assessment: Formative.

Duration: 7 hours (adaptable according to needs).

First responder (PPE)

Objectives: To be able to use the means of first intervention against the fire, carry out an evacuation, receive and guide the outside help.

Training: Not certifying.

Audience: All personnel designated as first response team members by their employer.

Prerequisites: None.

Medical restriction: No.

Maximum number of participants: 8.

Training: Intra, face-to-face and synchronous.

Maintaining and updating skills in wearing self-contained breathing apparatus (ARI)

Final objective: Maintain and develop their skills in wearing the self-contained breathing apparatus.

Training: Not certifying.

Public: Any person designated as intervening within a fire organization.

Prerequisites: Medical aptitude for wearing an insulating breathing apparatus and having followed the initial ARI training

Final objective: Acquire the basic notions of the fire system and the useful gestures in order to implement the means of first and second intervention in the industrial environment in safety.

Training: Not certifying.

Audience: All personnel designated by their employer.

Prerequisites: Medical ability to wear an insulated breathing apparatus.

Medical restriction: Medical fitness to wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Maximum number of participants: 8.

First actions in the face of a fire (PFGI)

Final objective: Identify a fire risk. Alert the institutional emergency services. Choose the appropriate fire-fighting means, available in the establishment, to deal with the start of a fire.

Public: Any public from any establishment subject to the labor code and ERP.

Prerequisites: None.
